We are looking for volunteers to support interested households who are seeking assistance submitting BCACHA’s (Boise City/Ada County Housing Authorities) ERAP (Emergency Rental Assistance Program) application! 1-3 hours a week, In-person training.

This volunteer position is thanks to a sub grant administered through IHFA via the ERAP 1 funds that were allotted to BCACHA, and the responsibilities of this volunteer position are based on the reimbursement requirements of that grant.

This volunteer position is largely focused on empowering interested tenants to fill out the BCACHA ERAP application with only our support. Volunteers will schedule in-person appointments or virtual appointments to support the tenant creating their own BCACHA ERAP portal login credentials, going through the application fields, upload required documents for the application, and submit the application . Volunteers are not tenant representatives and are mostly there to support and talk the client through the application process.

This is a temporary volunteer position that will only be available from April 2022 to September 2022.

Please let us know if you are fluent in additional languages or have any other skill sets you would like to utilize during your volunteer opportunity!

Our Program Coordinator and/or Volunteer Coordinator will be in contact with you within 1-2 business days after you submit your questionnaire!

If you are interested in volunteering, please fill out this questionnaire: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSc8IDxslyq3Cvap6A3wiIH3unubdhx1pRIoIkIzosQXFD-_jw/viewform
