AccentCare has developed several specialty roles, which allow volunteers to utilize their own strengths and interests. This offers a meaningful and rewarding volunteer experience and enhances the quality of life for our patients and families.
What Is a Legacy Volunteer?
Legacy Volunteers create Legacies such as Life Story Books, Journals, CDs, Memory Bears and Crafts for patients on our services. Patients on hospice services are often sadden because they have little memories to leave behind because of their illness. Legacy projects ensure and comforts the patient in knowing we will assist with telling their sorry to their loved ones. We really need your help to continue these projects by helping someone leave loving memories behind for their grieving families. If this sounds like something, you may be interested in doing.
