Help us support our programs by volunteering for our fundraising event set-up and clean-up at our Encinitas location.

The ICA is seeking several able-bodied volunteers to assist in the day with event set up including moving tables and chairs, umbrellas, bar set-up, moving speakers and screens.

The ICA is seeking several more volunteers to assist later in the night with event clean up, including packing event rental materials, storing bar items, moving tables, taking down umbrellas and stacking chairs, moving large items like furniture, screens and speakers.

This annual fundraiser will help the ICA increase our funding for contemporary art exhibitions and education programs. Please see details below. Sign up now!

ecology-focused season, 'In this Broad Earth of Ours’

The Institute of Contemporary Art, San Diego is pleased to present its 2nd annual galaat its spacious and magical North campus in Encinitas (formerly Lux Art Institute). The entire 6-acre property will be lit up with lights, food, music, and dancing. The event will be held outdoors.

IMPACT As part of our commitment to socially engaged contemporary art, our 2nd annual Gala directly supports our residency program, regional artists, arts education programs, arts outreach to Title-I schools, and our Everyday Equity Admission program. Through our engagement initiatives and our free admission structure, we use art as a way to create points of access, understanding, equity, and unity for our community. ICA San Diego encourages a diverse audience to discover the powerful benefits of art and strengthen our local cultural ecosystem.

VIP Reception 5:00 - 6:00 pm

Dinner and Auction 6:00 - 8:30 pm
A remarkable plant-based dinner by Chef Flor Franco and Berry Good Food Foundation followed by an auction for amazing destinations and music by Rumba Ketumba [Latino Afro Jazz band].

Dancing 8:30 - 10:00 pm
Have fun and dance to a DJ’s tunes under the starry night.
