ORGANIZATION: Hope Connections for Cancer Support

Hope Connections for Cancer Support has moved into its new location in Bethesda! We are looking for 4-6 volunteers to help carry, lift, and move various pieces of furniture, lamps, wall pictures, etc. from room to room, ahead of our reopening later this year.

The day of the event is Wednesday, May 18, from 1:00-5:00 pm, or as long as you can stay. A perfect opportunity to earn SSL hours on a half-day of school!

If interested in volunteering to help set up our new home, please contact our Office Manager & Volunteer Coordinator, Teresa at info@hopeconnectionsforcancer.org.

Shift assignments are given based on availability. SSL hours are available for eligible High School Students.

Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian and must be completed outside of school hours . The nonprofit organization is responsible for maintaining student safety. Parents/guardians should contact the nonprofit directly with any questions and/or concerns.
