ORGANIZATION: FACES IN BETWEEN INC
SNACC is a nonprofit that works with underserved youth and families to improve food insecurity and developmental outcomes. We provide weekly groceries accompanied by weekly cooking classes for youth and families, taught by incredible, well-known chefs from across the country.
We are holding our end-of-year picnic for our students and families in the South Bronx this Tuesday (5/17) at 6 pm and we are seeking a volunteer to come to the event to capture photos of this community gathering!
We are a very small, yet impactful organization, hoping to grow our reach in the community and serve more families; having high-quality content to share with donors, funders and future community partners will help us increase our impact and provide food for more families.

SNACC is a volunteer-driven program that responds to the consequences and risks associated with financial hardship by providing accessible nutritional programming to youth in NYC. Our programming uses education and relationship-building to promote healthy living and community connection.
SNACC by Faces in Between is a hands-on food education program that addresses food insecurity by focusing on cooking skills, wellness, and community connections for youth. Our students live in the South Bronx, one of the most underserved and hardest-hit communities by COVID-19 in the United States. Each week, our students participate in a weekly virtual cooking session. Students get the weekly ingredients sent directly to their homes and have the opportunity to prepare four portions of nutritious food to enjoy with their families!
