CWS Durham's CARE (Communities Acting for Refugee Empowerment) Program is a new initiative dedicated to closing the economic gap for established refugee individuals and families.
Volunteers for this program will partner with a refugee CARE client to complete regular check-ins on the progress of the mode of career advancement they are participating in and being there for social support. This may include helping a client studying for a class they are taking. The main 'ask' is for social support for the client as they complete their class.
