Did you serve in the Military? 25% of all deaths each year (about 680,000) are Veterans.
Help veterans at the end of their lives by becoming a hospice volunteer. With so many veterans in our community, you have a real opportunity to honor a veteran by providing a listening ear and creating a sacred space that only another veteran can give. You can also participate in veteran pinning ceremonies where we honor the veteran's service to our nation.
As a Veteran-to-Veteran Hospice Volunteer, you’re provided with specialized training to spend time with Veterans as they near the end of their lives. You must pass a drug screen, background check, TB test, and complete orientation.
