California State Games (CSG) is the largest amateur sports festival in the state. As a community-based member of the United States Olympic Committee, they have hosted their Olympic-style event since 1988. The California State Games includes 24 sports competitions in San Diego on July 14-16, 2023.
Basketball Gym Volunteers are needed to assist the Tournament Directors with general oversight of the tournament. Volunteers will be asked to oversee the gym entrance and check-in of teams, watch the basketball games, keep an eye on the spectators, and oversee the cleanliness of the gym. If potential issues arise, volunteers will make sure the Tournament Director is aware and will be asked to help as needed. If you enjoy the game of basketball then this is a perfect volunteer position for you.
Opportunity Requirements & Important Notes
Attire: Closed-toe shoes are required.
Physical Requirements: Must be mobile (ability to move along with athletes) and some sports may require ability to pick up smaller weight items
