California State Games (CSG) is the largest amateur sports festival in the state. As a community-based member of the United States Olympic Committee, they have hosted their Olympic-style event since 1988. The California State Games includes 24 sports competitions in San Diego on July 14-16, 2023.
For this opportunity you will assist the Rugby staff by volunteering as a Field General. Volunteers will be assigned to a specific playing field where they will be responsible for manning the field tents, communicating via walkie-talkie, reporting scores and helping the referees as needed. Great volunteer position for Rugby fans!
Opportunity Requirements & Important Notes
Attire: Closed-toe shoes are required. Wear sun protection (hat and sunscreen).
Physical Requirements: Must be mobile (ability to move along with athletes) and some sports may require ability to pick up smaller weight items
