California State Games (CSG) is the largest amateur sports festival in the state. As a community-based member of the United States Olympic Committee, they have hosted their Olympic-style event since 1988. The California State Games includes 24 sports competitions in San Diego on July 14-16, 2023.
Volunteers will be assigned a position upon arrival at the Track meet. Jobs include assisting with Field Events, working as part of the Hurdle Crew, or working the Awards Table. There will be down-time during the track event but volunteers should come ready to hop in and help out with anything, including working as an assistant to the meet director.
Opportunity Requirements & Important Notes
Attire: Closed-toe shoes are required. Wear sun protection (hat and sunscreen).
Physical Requirements: Must be mobile (ability to move along with athletes) and some sports may require ability to pick up smaller weight items
