California State Games (CSG) is the largest amateur sports festival in the state. As a community-based member of the United States Olympic Committee, they have hosted their Olympic-style event since 1988. The California State Games includes 24 sports competitions in San Diego on July 15-17, 2022.
Volunteers with medical background/training are needed to care for injured athletes, participants, viewers, etc. when needed. Medical Doctors, Nurses, Physician Assistants, and Athletic Trainers are encouraged to volunteer.
Opportunity Requirements & Important Notes
Attire: Closed-toe shoes are required. Wear sun protection (hat and sunscreen) for any outdoor sports.
Requirements: ALL MEDICAL VOLUNTEER'S CREDENTIALS MUST BE CONFIRMED BY ONE OF CSG'S MEDICAL DIRECTORS, before the week of the event. Please email your credentials (Residency Program or Institution included) to entries@calstategames.org. You will need to be confirmed by one of the Medical Directors before you are officially confirmed for your shift.
