Hello Community!
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY and VOLUNTEERS BASED IN U.S. ONLY. Looking for volunteers who can begin immediately May thru August and invest a minimum of 15 hours weekly. This is a virtual opportunity.
We're working on developing an on-line platform to further our impact in project-based learning and community. We are looking for volunteers passionate about UX/UI Design and Conducting Product Research who can develop low to high fidelity wireframes using FIGMA prototyping tool and conduct product market research.
We already have an existing high fidelity clickable prototype. Thus we have a solid foundation to work from. However, we are looking for a UX/UI Designer - Researcher who will research the user journey of other platforms and create a similar process for our online platform by designing wireframes. For example, the volunteer will look to see which platforms have a great on-boarding process, evaluate how many screens and what the requirement are for each step, even error messages. The volunteer will then wireframe a similar process for our platform.Ultimately, the wireframes will map out the user journey in detail. The volunteer's step-by-step wireframes will help to ensure we don't miss a critical aspect when in the development phase.
This is a dynamic opportunity for those interested in product development, UX/UI design and product market research. And more importantly interested in emerging talent (ages 14 - 26), education / ed-tech, skill and professional development, project based learning, collaboration and community.
Requirement include the following:
- U.S. based UX/UI Designer with a portfolio

- Able to volunteer a minimum of 15 hours weekly May thru August
- Has an excellent work ethic and will remain committed to complete project
- Has great project management, organizational and communication skills
