The Castro Valley Library is recruiting for an after-school Homework Center Coordinator to run and manage our center during the 2022-2023 school year. The Homework Center Coordinator will assist K-8th grade students with homework assignments, projects, reading and math skill improvement as well as manage teen Homework Center volunteers. This position adheres to the CVUSD instructional schedule and is generally open Monday-Thursday from 3:30pm-5:00pm
The ideal candidate is someone who has an understanding of the current common core school curriculum and is preferably either a retired educator or someone with classroom experience
These positions are eligible to receive a competitive monthly stipend
