Help cancer patients in your community get to life-saving treatment.
Volunteer drivers donate their time and vehicle to help those who can’t drive, don’t feel well enough to drive, or don’t have consistent, reliable transportation to treatment appointments.
You choose the rides that work with your schedule. Rides are weekdays and available in one-way segments. We hope drivers provide 2 rides per month; some volunteers help weekly if available. Road To Recovery is a program of the American Cancer Society.
Volunteer drivers are ages 18-84 with
- COVID-19 vaccination & booster
- a good driving record
- a current, valid driver's license & safe vehicle
- complete online training & background check
- comfort using technology
- proof of adequate automobile insurance
