Call to Action

YES is seeking passionate and qualified professionals to assist us in our mission to teach youth and young adults ages 16-24 the skills needed to secure and maintain meaningful employment.

Overview

We offer skills-based virtual and in-person volunteer opportunities. This is a fantastic option for companies that observe a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) model. This is likewise a great option for corporations that have core values centered around youth development, quality education, workforce development, uplifting disadvantaged communities, and supporting local community initiatives.

The vast majority of our corporate volunteer partners engage as Mock Interviewers for our school and nonprofit programs. We also offer opportunities for corporate volunteers to engage as Career Mentors and Workshop Facilitators.

About Being a YES Mock Interviewer

Our Mock Interviewers help youth practice essential one-on-one interviewing skills that could make or break a chance at a job opportunity. These volunteers aim to assess and offer advice to clients. Mock Interviews are typically under an hour long. Training is provided beforehand. Programs may be virtual or in-person. When we hold in-person opportunities, they can be held in various cities throughout Orange County.
