The Cobble Hill Health Center is a 320 bed facility, with a Short-Term Rehabilitation Unit, Alzheimer's Unit, Theraputic Recreation. Volunteers have the opportunity to work directly with the residents if they like, on a regular nursing unit or with the alzheimer residents who are in the Alzheimer's Program. Or if you're a happy go lucky person, you would fit in perfectly in our Theraputic Recreation Program. In Theraputic Recreation volunteers assist in daily activities with the residents which could be anything from baking bread to participating in a play for the residents entertainment. Here at Cobble we are all team players, We call ourselves the Cobble Hill family, because we all work together to keep our residents comfortable.

Cobble Hill Health Center is one of the largest voluntary not-for- profit skilled nursing care facilities in NYC. Cobble Hill has established itself as a leader in the provision of superior care and has developed new programs to anticipate and meet the diverse needs of the elderly, physically handicapped , and people with Alzheimer's disease. We offer a unique 362 bed facility designed for people in the middle and late stages of Alzheimer's disease. Our restorative rehabilitation department provide temporary care for individuals planning to return to community living.
