The Cobble Hill Health Center is a 320 bed facility, with a Short-Term Rehabilitation Unit, Alzheimer's Unit, Theraputic Recreation. Volunteers have the opportunity to work directly with the residents if they like, on a regular nursing unit or with the alzheimer residents who are in the Alzheimer's Program. Or if you're a happy go lucky person, you would fit in perfectly in our Theraputic Recreation Program. In Theraputic Recreation volunteers assist in daily activities with the residents which could be anything from baking bread to participating in a play for the residents entertainment. Here at Cobble we are all team players, We call ourselves the Cobble Hill family, because we all work together to keep our residents comfortable.

Cobble Hill Health Center is one of the largest voluntary not-for- profit skilled nursing care facilities in NYC.Cobble Hill has established itself as a leader in the provision of superior care and has develped new programs to anticipate and meet the diverse needs of the elderly, physically handicapped , and people with Alzheimers disease.We offer a unique 160 bed residential prgram designed for people in the middle and late stages of Alzheimer's disease. Our restorative rehabilitation unit and medical subacute unit provide temporary care for individuals planning to return to community living. The Adult Day Health Center enables people with Alzheimer's disease to continue living in their own homes and provides respite to their family caregivers.
