Summary:
We Vote has an open volunteer position for a staff recruiter working 1-2 hours per week (internship opportunities available). We are looking for someone to build their skills as a technical recruiter who can help us build out our team of volunteers (engineering interns and volunteers, political data interns and volunteers, marketing interns and volunteers). We have multiple volunteering positions open you will help recruit for.
About We Vote:
We Vote is a nonpartisan national digital voter guide, and a celebrated Fast Forward nonprofit technology grantee. We Vote is a movement of excellent, passionate volunteers (starting with the founders) who build mobile technologies that touch and mobilize millions of voters on Election Day. We believe that many voters are busy, distracted, and impatient. What You'll Do:
- We are looking for a recruiter who wants to give back to a nonprofit, and work to strengthen American democracy
- Create new role descriptions and post positions in more places, especially for marketing-specific volunteers.
- Review incoming applications, and do initial screening, up to and including first phone interviews.

- We expect this position to require 1-2 hours per week. We ask for a 2-3 month commitment.
