Seeking Big Brother for 9-YO Marcus who loves sports and Dragon Ball Z!
ORGANIZATION: Jewish Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Boston
Please visit the new page to apply.
Volunteer as a Big Brother to Marcus: a 9-year-old African American boy who likes being outside and playing basketball, tennis, and football. He also enjoys playing video games and Dragon Ball Z. Marcus lives in Waltham with his single mom and two sisters. Ideally, he would like to be matched with an African American mentor (ages 21-35) who belongs to some religion, is willing to play sports with him, and can help guide him as he grows into a young man. Volunteers from all religions and backgrounds are welcome!
Bigs commit to meeting with their Littles twice/month for at least a year; training is provided. Matches receive support from social workers with experience working with children and families. Apply now (www.jbbbs.org/volunteer), or email tania@jbbbs.org with any questions!
