Volunteer as a Big Sister to 12-year-old Bella, who is seeking a role model near Framingham. Bella is a creative child who enjoys arts and crafts, including jewelry making. Other fun activities that she hopes to experience with her Big Sister are roller blading, ice skating, exploring the science museum, and going to the zoo, beach, or mall. The ideal match would be a supportive adult in her 20s or 30s who can model the importance of respect for self and others. Volunteers from all religions, races, ethnicities, and backgrounds are welcome!
Bigs commit to meeting with their Littles twice/month for at least a year; training is provided. Matches receive support from social workers with experience working with children and families. Apply now (www.jbbbs.org/volunteer), or email tania@jbbbs.org with any questions!
