Many people in Haiti are eager to interact with native English speakers in order to meet a foreigner and to practice their English skills. These conversations are great opportunities to share love and to share your faith. Join us in building these relationships and show love. Job Description

Conversation classes and English Clubs are great opportunities that provide a platform for building relationships with young adults in a community. Young adults have limited chances to interact with English speakers and are eager for the opportunity to have conversations in English.

Our vision is to see numerous people growing in their knowledge of the Lord. We build relationships as we serve among these people, showing love and sharing in word and deed.

Cap Haitien vibrant old colonial city. There are numerous vehicles and motorcycles buzzing around the city. The housing ranges from simple wooden shacks, colonial houses to massive mansions. It is very hot and humid and rainy season brings relief for a few months of the year.

Responsibilities

This role would include:

spending time building relationships through helping with English classes

spending time with young adults, visiting with them, and facilitating English conversation groups.

Through building these relationships you would have opportunities to show and share your faith and to share love.

Ability to speak English

Living Situations

You will be required to dress according to local cultural norms which means modest dress as well as adjusting lifestyle and language.

Be able to work with a diverse team of people from different cultures.

Have an attitude that is flexible and willing to learn.
