Our STEP Force volunteers assist staff with patient transport or escort service to areas within the hospital and clinic. They assist staff with the delivery of patient related materials, including small orders of supplies, reports, lab specimens, records, pharmacy items, and IV Therapy.
Please note: Mayo Clinic has requirements for volunteering. Below is a list of some of these requirements.
- Completion of background checks
- Tuberculosis testing
- Proof of other immunizations (This will vary by state and volunteer role)
If you choose to not complete these requirements you will not be able serve as a volunteer.
