ORGANIZATION: WarriorConnect
WarriorConnect could not be what it is today without its amazing volunteers. Volunteers are located all over the world, with most being in the US. WarriorConnect volunteers help with anything and everything - ranging from designing stickers to setting up local events.
The volunteer coordinator would be facilitating the recruitment of new volunteers, overseeing the onboarding process of new volunteers, and maintaining communication with current volunteers. We want our volunteers to feel connected to the team and have easy access to our leadership team - which the volunteer coordinator would help provide. This person would also attend our weekly executive team meetings on Sundays at 5PM PST online to collaborate with the rest of the leadership team.
The volunteer coordinator plays a crucial role in our organization and we are looking for someone enthusiastic to stay connected with people! Not much prior experience is needed as we will work with you to teach you everything you need to know. However, a commitment of 7-10 hours a week and a willingness to commit for at least 12 months is needed.

WarriorConnect is a nonprofit organization with the mission of bringing connection to those battling health issues so that they are reminded that they have support and feel a sense of community. We achieve this by assembling and delivering care packages to people battling any health obstacle whether it be mental, physical, acute, or chronic. We use social media to provide education and raise awareness about different health conditions and to provide a platform for warriors to share about their unique experiences with health issues. WarriorConnect is run by a team of passionate, kind advocates located all around the US.
