Looking for something to do over the summer?? How does giving back to our seniors sound? Would you want to sit with patients and talk to them sing with them or just spend some time with them. Our seniors are looking to have someone visit with them over the summer and just visit with them. If you like to listen to stories, play cards even watch old movies or listen to music we need you.
We need volunteers who are able to spend some time with elderly patients who are just looking for someone to spend some time with them. If that is you please email Grace Hospice and we will get you going.

Description
HarmonyCares Hospice of Indiana is the first HarmonyCares Hospice in the state and has Nurses, CNA's/Hospice Aides, Social Workers, Chaplains and Volunteers that assist the patients and support their families wherever the patient considers their "home" to be.
The hospice philosophy focuses on comfort care not curative care. The goal of hospice care is for the patient to remain as comfortable and pain-free as possible in their own home or the home of a loved one through the end of life. Hospice care can also be provided in a long-term care facility or an assisted living facility.
Hospice is a philosophy of caring for patients whose medical conditions are not responding to treatment or for those patients who choose not to seek aggressive medical care at the end stage of life. It is a program for patients who are considered terminal and are expected to live six months or less if the disease follows its natural course, although many patients outlive this time frame.
We strive to improve the quality of life for all we serve including our patient's families, their neighbors, and the community they live in. We strive to make an impact with everyone we meet and improve the community as a whole.
