Special Olympics Delaware has been changing the lives of Delawareans since 1971. Through sports training and competition in 19 sports, more than 4,200 athletes with intellectual disabilities have proven that, given the chance, no disability is too great to overcome.
ROLE DESCRIPTIONS
Fundraising Volunteer Photographer
Once registered fundraising event volunteers can sign up for a date and time of their choosing using the online volunteer portal. Photographers will be asked to submit their photos using an online drop box post event.

Athlete Competition and Program Volunteer Photographer
Volunteers will be required to submit a detailed application form and complete a background check prior to starting this role. These volunteers will help capture the joy and triumphs of sport. Photographers will be asked to submit their photos using an online drop box post event.

The mission of Special Olympics Delaware is to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for more than 4,000 children and adults with intellectual disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community.
