As part of the health centers ongoing commitment to excellence in health care, each month the health center utilizes volunteers to observe the day to day operations of each department. In particular, volunteers perform monthly audits to ensure staff are using proper hand hygiene procedures as well as "two identifiers" for each patient.

You should be comfortable working independently and enjoy working under the radar as volunteers try to not be identified as a volunteer to make the audits as blind as possible! However, that often doesn't last long but does then provide the opportunity to learn more about working at a community health center!

Days and hours are flexible as many department are open 7 days per week or open until 8 pm at night.
