Who we are:
Ki Culture is an international non-profit organization dedicated to promoting sustainability in the culture sector on a global scale. We make sustainability easy and achievable to everyone by providing solutions, resources, and programs for cultural professionals and organizations. We work with museums, galleries, artists, the performing arts, conservators, and anyone in the cultural sector who wants to become a leader for sustainability.
Our mission aligns with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), supporting Agenda 2030 through action, communication, and education.
We are a diverse and inclusive organization with dedicated volunteers from all over the world bringing their perspectives and expertise to make Ki Culture a truly global player.
We work across sectors to make our field sustainable and to make the world a better place through culture. We believe sustainability is key to a better future and it’s our mission to inspire action.
The role:
We are looking for professional individual who can:
- Create and send monthly newsletters for both the Ki Futures program and Ki Culture in general
- Manage Ki Culture subscribers
- Working closely with the Design Team and Director of Communications to ensure continuity of messaging
- Keeping up with Slack activity for newsletter content
We are looking for passionate individuals who are:
- Comfortable writing new text or summarizing text in American English
- Interested in learning about the intersection of culture and sustainability
- Comfortable learning how to create campaigns on MailChimp - or you might already be comfortable with MailChimp!
- Comfortable reaching out to people you may not know for information
- Comfortable with using the Slack communication platform
- Has excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Has excellent communication skills
All of our work is remote and we have teams all over the world. We ask that you have your own device and a reliable internet connection.
