Aurora Players is a beloved, volunteer community theater based in East Aurora, NY that provides affordable, live theater to thousands of Western New Yorkers. Our not-for-profit organization needs volunteers to help with every aspect of producing 4-5 shows each year, as well as general administrative help. Training is available for many of these opportunities, including: show producer; props coordinator; stage manager; set design; set building and painting; lighting and sound operation; and administrative work. Aurora Players of East Aurora, N.Y. held its first performance back in 1935. Since that time, we have taken great pride in offering high-quality community theatre to the public at an affordable price. They also learn new skills and make lifelong friends along the way. Our charming 200 seat theatre has put on award-winning musicals and plays that are regularly packed with enthusiastic audiences. We depend on volunteers for every aspect of producing shows, assisting audience members, caring for our historic theater and helping with business and administrative aspects.
