ORGANIZATION: Meals on Wheels of Southwest OH & Northern KY


Deliver Meals to Seniors-

Volunteers will go to the homebound seniors home daily Monday thru Friday between the hours of 11am-1pm.
Once there, they will heat up, in the microwave, one of the frozen meals that have been delivered to them at the beginning of the week. Once heated they will let the senior know the meal is heated and is placed wherever the senior wants it so they can eat it. Once that is finished, you as the volunteer have completed your volunteer service for the day.

1 Shift

  • 11:00 AM to 01:00 PM
    Shifts are daily, Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs, and Friday.

To foster and support seniors who seek to stay in their homes as long as possible through the provision of essential home-based services.

Description

Meals on Wheels of Southwest OH & Northern KY provides Meals-On-Wheels, medical and specialized transportation, and independent living assistance services to seniors and disabled individuals in Greater Cincinnati and surrounding areas. Our programs also include Pet Portions, which provides free food to our clients cats and dogs, and PetKare, which provides clients with vouchers to be used at local select veterinary facilities for their pet's care. Meals on Wheels of Southwest OH & Northern KY also partners with more than 60 WesleyLinks churches to help seniors in their congregations secure information and services that will help them stay in their homes as long as possible.
