The Volunteer Registration for the Spring 2023 5K is OPEN!
If you’ve ever attended a GOTR 5K Celebration, you’ve seen the countless volunteers buzzing about, ensuring that the day is a joyful success. These kindhearted people lay the pathway to perfect 5K Celebrations. We are looking for volunteers to help us with the big day. There are various ways to support us, so even if you aren’t a walker or runner, you have a place on our team! Get involved and learn more here:
We need volunteers to help on the day of the race. We usually have around 100 volunteers to help make the day memorable for the GOTR Girls. Can you help?
The time to sign up to volunteer for the Spring 2022 5K is here! Will you join us as a volunteer on April 22 at Admiral Byrd Middle School for an unforgettable day of excitement, positivity, and celebration? The end-of-season 5K event is a time for us to come together as a community and applaud our girls on the lessons they have learned, obstacles they have overcome and the confidence they have built.
Girls on the Run of the Shenandoah Valley volunteers are the glue that keeps our program together, so your attendance and involvement are highly valued! We hope you can be there this season to help the 231 Spring Season girls have a fantastic day to close out their Spring season. Your participation helps keep the remarkable impact of Girls on the Run in the lives of girls throughout the Shenandoah Valley area.

Description
Girls on the Run is a transformational physical activity-based positive youth development program for girls in 3rd to 8th grade designed to develop and enhance girls’ competencies to navigate life experiences successfully. Girls learn how to be a good a friend, choose good friends, conflict resolution, make healthy choices, and so much more while training for an end-of-season 5K.
