Volunteers are paired with one or more seniors within reasonable driving distance to their home. Volunteers will schedule weekly (or as needed) grocery store trips for their senior. They will need to establish communication with the senior to confirm their needs, get a form of payment for items, and head to the store. Once finished, the volunteer will return to the seniors home with their items. The volunteer can also assist with putting groceries away, prescription pick-up, and mail pick-up (if requested).
All volunteers are subject to a background check and have reliable transportation.
