DiverseMinds is a Neurodiversity Magazine working to bridge the gender gap within the field of neurodiversity.

DiverseMinds.co's research field is mainly focused on female neurodiversity. There is no single research about women in neurodiversity. DiverseMinds wanted to create this platform for women in neurodiversity to use their words to influence others, and this is what brings everyone joy-to connect people and connect with people. We believe that women in neurodiversity deserve the opportunity to express themselves. We believe that through conversation, we inspire each other, learn from each other, and create opportunities for each other. Most importantly, we believe that it is through conversation that we can share our thoughts and emotion to support each other in the society.

Job Role

Main Responsibilities

Strategy and planning:

  • In cooperation with the Editor-in-chief, lead the development of any long-term strategy to achieve agreed short-term and long-term organisational goals
  • Identify potential gaps in deliverables and produce strategies to eliminate or reduce them
  • Develop and build relationships with key stakeholders within, and external to the organization

Marketing, public relations and social media:

  • Create and review content
  • Lead the promotion of content for the website, blog, IGTV, social media, press releases, events and fundraising campaign initiatives
  • Streamline communication across teams
  • Communicate the organisation’s existing and upcoming programs to clients

Essential Experience:

  • At least one year experience in a similar role
  • Proven ability to build, manage and develop key client relationships
  • Experience of developing and implementing strategic and business plans
  • Experience leading and developing teams

Essential Skills and Knowledge:

  • Minimum 1st year student in marketing/business degree
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Knowledge of marketing, PR and social media strategies and implementation techniques
  • Skilled strategic thinker and generator of content ideas and approaches
  • Highly self-motivated and able to work autonomously, take initiative and make decisions
  • Innovative management style
  • Ability to work flexible hours (5-10 hours per week with weekly check-ins)
  • Energy, enthusiasm and flair to work hard and achieve ambitious targets
