Are you a Marketing or Communications student or a recent graduate? The StemMontessori Academy of Canada is looking for an enthusiastic volunteer Social Media
Coordinator. Working closely with the Marketing Team, the Social Media Coordinator
will take the lead on SMAC’s online presence, help spread awareness of STEM, and
share information on our programs and initiatives. This is a remote position within
Canada.
The STEM Montessori Academy of Canada is a federally registered not-for-profit
regional science technology engineering and math (STEM) program open to all students
with the mission to deliver top-notch STEM literacy and application. The STEM program
educates students from preschool to high school. SMAC will specialize in an advanced,
bar-none STEM-based educational curriculum that emphasizes the interconnected
subject areas of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM).

assistance

improvement

● Enthusiastic and exemplifies a good work ethic - dedicated and committed
● Great at planning, organization, leadership, teamwork, and time
management
Duties & Responsibilities:
●Manage all social media pages for SMAC (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram,
Twitter)
●Develop content to recruit and engage new volunteers and potential students
●Share information on programs and new initiatives within the SMAC network
●Engage personal network to develop potential partnerships and sponsorships
●Attend virtual meetings with the Marketing and HR Team
Requirements:
●Marketing or Communications student or recent graduate
●Superior social media skills, understanding, and knowledge of digital trends ●Ability to work alone and in a team environment
●Exceptional communication and writing skills
