Close the Gap is looking for a content writer to create insightful, actionable content that will help us create a future without opportunity gaps. Through these efforts, you’ll propel our organic reach and growth to the next level.

• Help create donor presentations, press releases, and any other communication materials
• Track major personal contribution, grants, sponsorship opportunities on Salesforce and report key metrics like fundraising pipeline and expected cash contributions on a quarterly basis
• Support CFO and relevant personnel in donor-related matters including coordinating and communicating with donors on a prompt, detailed and accurate manner on CTG’s performance within the broader context of the CTG’s long-term vision and strategy
• Directly assist CFO and other senior executives on building partnerships with foundations, nonprofits, and corporations

• Passionate about creating an equitable society
• You are a team player who values transparency, accountability, and diversity

• BA or BS degree or equivalent work experience
• Minimum 2 years of experience in business, operations, consulting, or strategy
• A keen analytical eye and experience building presentations from scratch (in Google Slides, PowerPoint, or other applications)
• Strong verbal communication skills, including a proven ability to build strong collaborative working relationships with business partners
• Ability to commit and contribute at least 10 hours every week, on average
• Ability to attend Weekly Staff Meetings, currently on Thursdays at 8:00 pm PT

• Experience with CRM tools like Salesforce or a willingness to learn
