We are currently looking for volunteers for our 13 th Annual Auction & Gala on Saturday May 21, 2022, held at the stunning Silver Cloud Hotel at Point Ruston Waterfront.
The theme this year is Kentucky Derby! Bring your Big Hats, and Colorful Fashion and Enjoy a Mint Julep during an Unbridled Night with A Step Ahead in Pierce County as we Place our Bets and Donate at the Derby!
Without our volunteers, this would not be a successful event! It takes a large team to assist with all the details to ensure that everything runs smoothly, and ASAPC cannot thank you enough for all your dedication and participation. THANK YOU!
Available Hours:
- Set-up: 8am-1pm
- Event Night: 5pm-9:00pm (training starts at 3:30PM)
- Clean-up: 9:00pm-11:00pm (includes free concert tickets)
Great for:
- Couples and Friends
- Corporate Teams
- Teens who need service hours (16+) (morning and clean up crew only)
Available Jobs:
- Set-up Crew - Silent auction, decorations, etc.
- Registration - Check in guests, information, cashiering.
- Silent Auction/Item pick up - Help guests with mobile bidding, package up items for guests, and give to guests at event end.
- VIP Silver Cloud Club Experience Host(s) - Concierge for VIP guests.
- Drinko Game - Help with running game and give wine to runner for guest storage.
- Casino Cashiers - Control distribution of chips to guests.
- Runners/Spotters - Assist with distributing chips to guests and assisting recorders and auctioneer during the live auction.
- Recorders - Sit near stage and record winning bids.
- Clean-up Crew - Clean up decorations and other items.

Supporting families of infants and toddlers with special needs by enhancing their development and relationships both at home and in their community.
Description
We have been operating in Puyallup as a nonprofit for 22 years and serve children birth to three with developmental delays or disabilities. Just as no two children are the same, developmental delays often manifest in various ways; a delay may be identified at birth by a genetic or chromosomal disability (such as Down Syndrome); an unexpected delay may appear as the child grows and milestones fall short; or an unfortunate traumatic event, such as an accident or prenatal drug exposure, may result in a temporary or permanent delay.
More often than ever, with the opioid crisis we are serving babies that have been in utero drug exposure at birth and children who have been subjected to horrible traumatic abuse and removed from their home. Our team of specialists customize a plan, as each child is unique and faces their own set of challenges.
