Background:

Life Without A Fork, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, is on a mission to give more life to those with overlooked and invisible disabilities by improving quality of life through the increase of services, awareness, and social support.

With awareness regarding mental health challenges becoming a hot topic in popular culture, depression and similar mental health conditions are often still overlooked and undermined in in our everyday lives.

It is a recurring challenge for many in today's assumed progressing world, to receive from their family, boss, friend, or partner, the validation they desire regarding the many struggles of their mental health, especially for those of socioeconomically disadvantaged backgrounds.

As such, Life Without A Fork has invested in creating a project that connects low-income and ethnic minority individuals to affordable mental health care.

What We Need From You:

We are looking to further fund this program, and reach at least 10 socioeconomically disadvantaged communities, serving over 20,000 individuals with mental health conditions who need affordable care.

We are looking for 8 individuals to share their story with depression, or similar conditions, and therapy, to help us relay the message of the importance surrounding mental health care and support accessibility.

The Process:

  • Following your inquiry to volunteer, we will be reaching out to schedule a virtual recorded interview to be utilize for program campaigning purposes.

We would like to emphasize to the world what toll mental health challenges can take on one's life, and the best way to enlightened others, is to share real stories told by real people like you.
