ORGANIZATION: Special Olympics BC - Delta

We require an enthusiastic and committed Volunteer Coordinator to join our Local Executive Committee. This person is required to attend monthly board meetings (one hour, once a month), and is will be responsible for recruiting, liaising with and representing volunteers, interviewing and screening volunteers, providing orientation and training sessions for volunteers, addressing requests of volunteers and organizing volunteer recognition. In addition to board meeting attendance, position will require approximately 5 hours per month. Preference will be given to individuals residing in Delta.
