Oakland Hospice seeks caring, compassionate volunteers with big hearts to help with patient care and companionship and more.

Volunteer training sessions will cover mission and values, confidentially, communication and listening skills, grief, loss, the dying process, and information pertinent to serving the needs of the patients.

Oakland Hospice is committed to the highest quality of hospice care for patients, their families, and other loved ones.

Interested volunteers must complete an application process prior to training. Early registration is encouraged as several steps are to be completed prior to the start of the training sessions.

Our next new volunteer orientation is fast-approaching and will take place at our office in West Bloomfield. Contact Jeanne Edwards, Volunteer Coordinator with questions or to apply for a brief interview (947) 254-3128.
