One Point Hospice is seeking a dedicated patient companion to sit with a patient for 1-2 hours once a week. This patient would love the companionship of talking, listening to music, storytelling, reading, reminiscing, etc. This specific opportunity is located in Rio Vista, TX, and we do have other opportunities similar in various locations.

All of our volunteers are trained using video modules prior to placement with a patient/family. Our volunteer coordinator will be with you as well the first time or two so that you are set up for success! Due to Medicare requirements, all volunteers must provide proof of vaccination or written religious/medical exemption for declination.

If you are a student in need of internship or volunteer hours, please let our volunteer coordinator know. We welcome your dedication to serving others in your community!
