IPL’s LVC position is an opportunity to learn about Broad Based (Community) Organizing (BBO) through leadership development. The volunteer will be considered an "Organizer in Training" and will learn the fundamentals of BBO including: relational power, identifying and training leaders, importance of institutions, collective leadership, raising hard and soft money, role of the organizer, and effective action.
