WesleyLife Hospice is looking to add friendly and compassionate individuals to give the gift of time and presence through visits. Volunteers help our patients feel supported and loved in the last phase of their life. Whether it's having a chat, playing cards, making a scrapbook to be remembered by, or simply holding a hand - everything a volunteer does is important.
All volunteers are required to complete an application and a background check. Training will be provided for your role. You will not be providing medical care.
Requirements include:
- Volunteer Application
- Background Checks
- 2 Step TB Test (provided at no cost)
- Physical & drug test
- Hospice training
- Dependent Adult Abuse training
