Since 2005 Youth Environmental Alliance has provided interactive programs that focus on educational sciences, conservation, and environmental stewardship. These fun and engaging programs involve youth, companies, and the community in preserving and protecting our unique ecosystems and wildlife, promoting sustainability at home, in school, at the office and in your communities. Programs include fishing, gardening, environmental and sustainability.
The Environmental Education Internship with Youth Environmental Alliance will provide the potential intern with practical learning experience and knowledge of informal conservation and environmental education in a summer camp setting.
YEA is currently seeking interns to help document and record education programs while being facilitated at summer camps. Interns will also assist primary educator with delivering YEA education programs successfully in allotted timeframe.
- Intern will be required to work 20-30 hours per week.
- Intern will be trained on the methods and techniques of environmental education.
- Intern will assist Education Specialists in the daily set-up, clean up, and facilitation of each program.
- Interns will be tasked with recording education programs to be used in training tutorials.
- Interns will transcribe recorded programs to create a written script for training purpose.
- Interns will take photo’s for marketing use.
- Position will be performed in the field and in the office.

Each program highlights the importance of outdoor ethics, safety and environmental stewardship. Partnerships with like-minded organizations have allowed Youth Environmental Alliance to maximize resources and improve the scope and quality of our programs.
