ORGANIZATION: Luminario Ballet of Los Angeles
Ballet company seeks a courteous, respectful, helpful, and detail oriented administrative intern
2 days per week (paid)
Knowledge of XLS, social media, mailchimp, basic graphics
This job will start with audience / donor database updating, review of past performances, calendaring and budgeting of upcoming 2022/23 performances.
Important: dance administration requires personal interactions with a broad range of people from all economic, education, and business levels, ranging from Luminario Ballet's dancers to national/international business associates and donors.
Assistant must be comfortable with people and able to keep required confidentiality as needed.
October Gala preparation at AVALON Hollywood
East Coast Tour preparation Nov/Jan
Pay: $15 per hour 3-4 hours twice a week, usually 11 AM-2 or 3 PM or 2-5 or 6 PM
Note: performing arts take place nights and weekends, so there will be occasional nights and weekends.
Travel may be involved.

Choreographers range from well known such as Michael Smuin and Bella Lewitzky to emerging talents such as Josie Walsh, Jamal Story, and award winning director Judith FLEX Helle. Luminario Ballet represents the vibrant, exceptional, talented and diverse LA population. Luminario Ballet has toured India via a grant from the US Department of State, and in the US: NY, TX, FLA.
Luminario Ballet is a woman-led, boutique, non profit Los Angeles dance company ranging from 8- 12 dancers and a small core of staff.
Luminario Ballet has a rotating choreorgapher roster, selected carefully each year by artistic director Judith FLEX Helle.
