Invite an international high school student to your home for a few weeks, a semester or even a full school year! Hosting is an amazing experience that will enrich, not only yourself and your family, but also schools and the entire community. Host families come in all shapes and sizes. You may be a single parent, an empty-nester, a couple with or without children - All family dynamics are welcome!
Our students are 15-17 years old and they come from Europe, Asia, and Latin America. They are carefully selected and come with full health insurance, spending money and they speak English well. And you can of course choose your own student. As a host family, you provide room and meals while at home, and a loving family to be a

Being a CIEE High School USA host family is about creating a home away from home. You’re part parent, part cultural ambassador, part mentor. Hosting is a chance to learn from one another. Our host families tell us over and over that their lives are just as touched and changed as those of their exchange student. You’ll join 16,000 CIEE host families that welcome students from 55 countries while they attend high school with the United States’ oldest and largest nonprofit study abroad and intercultural exchange organization. Each year, we bring students who are eager to learn to more than 1,000 schools from our network.

Seeking A potential host family for a student in the Henderson and Las Vegas area for the month of August 2022! If you have a room and can provide a student 3 meals a day, please open your heart and home and invite a high school student into your home. Welcome and temporary host families may apply! This is unpaid and only volunteering.
