The Fundraising Committee will be the primary source of recommendations to the Board of Directors of Preserve Alpine’s Heritage (PAH) on how to cover the organization's operating and project expenses, including the County’s pending Alpine Park Project. Fundraising experience is a plus for the Chair, but not required.

San Diego County Parks and Recreation is expecting the Environmental Impact Report (EIR) for the proposed park to be published and presented to the San Diego Board of Supervisors in late summer or early fall of 2022. It has been communicated that Draft EIR response letter comments that requested a scaled back design were ignored and it appears the park concept has grown in scope.

Based on what the EIR proposes, there may be the possibility of PAH needing to consult with experts, as we did with our response to the Draft EIR, to help with our response to the EIR. We also need funds to cover our operating expenses and other projects.

We look forward to working with you and making an impact in our beloved community of Alpine, CA!
