Aslan Youth Ministries is seeking a volunteer to manage the lunch program for our three summer camps. Each day of camp, approximately 30 brown-bagged lunches are served to our children. These lunches are provided by individuals and local church groups.
The Summer Day Camp Lunch Coordinator is responsible for:
- Contacting past lunch donors to gauge their interest in participating again this year
- Working with Volunteer Director to recruit more lunch donors, if needed
- Creating and maintaining a lunch donor schedule
- Communicating logistical details (menu, # of children being served, delivery instructions) to lunch donors
- Planning how to take care of incidentals, i.e., water, ice, anything extra not on the regular menu
- Ensuring camp leaders receive a copy of the donor schedule the Friday before each camp begins
2022 Dates:
- Asbury Park Camp - July 11-15 and July 18-22
- Long Branch Camp - July 25-29 and August 1-5
- Red Bank Camp - August 8-12 and August 15-19
