Did you know someone in the US needs blood every two seconds? To meet this critical need, the
American Red Cross is looking for dependable, safe and courteous drivers to deliver lifesaving blood
products. As a Blood Transportation Specialist (a.k.a. Driver), you can be the critical link between blood donors and recipients. Volunteers are responsible for regular routes and are on standby for emergency runs.

Routes available between neighborhood blood drives. Always on your schedule; only sign up for shifts convenient to you, including afternoons and evenings. Work independently or with preferred Navigator. Requires 3+ years clean driving record and ability to lift up to 45 lbs.

Commitment is 1-2 shifts each month. Most shifts are 3-6 hours.
