Pets have a long history of providing companionship and showing love for the people in their lives.

The bonds that people share with pets can result in very positive effects: increase feeling of relaxation and decrease stress. In seeking to provide patients with the best end-of-life care possible, we need your help with animal companionship as a form of therapy. In a hospice setting the natural bond between people and animals is to provide comfort, peace, and soothing companionship to terminally ill patients.

If you are certified and interested in helping, please reach out to our volunteer coordinator with Heart 'n Home Hospice.
