Bark for the Park is a free community event for dog lovers featuring local pet vendors, community booths, a food truck, photo area, craft activity, and doggy fashion show. Volunteer assignments will be given at check-in.

The Kentwood Parks and Recreation Departrment is an essential service designed to improve the overall quality of life for all Kentwood.
Description
The Parks & Recreation Department provides leisure, sport, fitness and cultural opportunities for residents of Kentwood and the surrounding communities. We offer sports leagues for adults and children, adaptive programs for persons with disabilities, cultural programming, fitness classes, seniors programming and much more. We also offer many special events ranging from the Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony, Egg Hunt, 4th of July Celebration, Tiny Tot Olympics and more.
