The Shop is Arlington Public Library's maker space. We have basic sewing machines as well as a serger and embroidery machine. We offer an ongoing basic sewing class to get people started using the equipment. We would also love to offer an intermediate and /or serger class.
We are looking for a total of 2 volunteers who would co-lead our basic and intermediate classes. The 2 volunteers will co-lead the classes on a Monday - Wednesday evening for a total of 2 classes per month.
Volunteers must have experience sewing on a machine and be comfortable instructing a class on a basic project.
