LOGO OF LITERACY VOLUNTEERS

This is a very rewarding volunteer opportunity that allows you to help adults change their lives by helping them understand, speak, read, and write English. We have over 150 adults waiting for literacy services in the North Port and Venice areas, however, North Port has the largest need.
No prior experience or education is required. We offer an awesome training program approximately 6 times per year. After attending training, you will have the opportunity to become a tutor (either in-person or online), a class instructor, or a volunteer in another capacity. Our organization also provides ongoing support to our tutors, instructors and volunteers.
